Udupi, Jun 23: Glowinstar Integrated school celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm. The programme began with a prayer song, followed by a welcome speech by Shreya Poojary of Class 10.

The chief guest for the occasion was Bhagyalakshmi, an experienced Bharatanatyam and yoga teacher who has trained many students over the years. Rishma of Class 10 delivered a speech on the significance of International Yoga Day. This was followed by an inspiring address by the chief guest, who spoke about the importance and benefits of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being.

Principal Dr T J Quadros then addressed the gathering and highlighted the value of incorporating yoga into daily life. A felicitation ceremony was held, during which the principal presented a memento to the chief guest as a token of appreciation.

Later, Bhagyalakshmi conducted a yoga session and demonstrated various yoga practices for the students. The students actively participated in the session and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The programme was smoothly compered by Manvi of Class 10, who served as the Master of Ceremonies. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Prapti of Class 10.

The celebration ended on a positive note, inspiring everyone to adopt yoga as a part of their daily lives.
