Porngate : Palemar, CC Patil to Get Clean Chit?

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Mar 18: Among the three BJP MLAs who are facing enquiry on allegations of watching a porn during assembly session, two are expected to come out clean.

Laxman Savadi, former minister who was caught by a private TV channel's camera watching a porn clip during a session in Assembly on Feb 7, 2012, had earlier admitted that he watched the porn and committed a mistake. But two others alleged in this 'porngate' case - former ministers C C Patil and Mangalore's Krishna Palemar - have denied the charge and the house enquiry committee headed by BJP MLA Srishailappa Bidaroor could not find enough evidence to charge these two MLAs.

It may be recalled that after the sensational blue film episode in the Karnataka assembly, all three ministers were forced to resign and face enquiry. Karnataka assembly speaker K G Bopaiah formed an enquiry committee of seven members from three political parties. The committee comprised of two Congress members, one JD(S) and four BJP members. But Congress and JD(S) had boycotted the enquiry committee, claiming there was no enquiry required as all three were proved guilty with enough evidence already.

The committee without Congress and JD(S) members, has now reportedly completed the enquiry, and is expected to submit the report to assembly speaker on March 20.  The house committee was asked to complete the enquiry by March 13, 2012 but later extended it by one week since it could not come to a conclusion within the stipulated time.

According to reliable sources, the committee has questioned all three MLAs and grilled them for hours on the issue. Only Laxman Savadi was found guilty of watching the porn movie inside the assembly during the session.

A member of the committee, who reportedly leaked the information to the media, said that no concrete evidence was available to charge C C Patil and Krishna Palemar in the blue film episode.

It would be the sole power of the speaker to prosecute Laxman Savadi, as the incident was reported during the session.

BJP MLAs S R Vishwanath, Nehur Olekar, Suresh Gowda and Srishailappa Bidaroor conducted the house enquiry.

It would be interesting to see what kind of reaction the media and opposition will express once the full report is presented by the speaker before the assembly.

No body we bother which direction our country goes. At least 60% of the MLA/MP are aged and sick. Difficult take care of themselves and what they can contribute to the country? Is it correct verdict?. Tv channels broadcasted the real issue watching blue film inside partliament house,it is clear and correct proof. How can people of Karnataka will expect the proper judgement being committee members are same Party men(BJP)?. This is mockery for people of Karnataka and nation. If common man caught all the rules will apply, but not for ministers.

OH yeah !! Krishna Palemar, the HERO,was given a testing time....His man management skills & people qualities are beyond compare. Only a man with dreams & vision can rise to his level. Mark McCormacks book ::WHAT THEY DONT TEACH YOU AT HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL::"" pales in comparison, cause this so called semi literate KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THEY CANT TEACH AT HARVARDS, Krishnanna practised it by his LIFE. ALSO been a noble & generous soul. POLITICS came per chance to him, but he acquitted himself creditably..He indeed is a "" AJAATHA SHATRU""..Now maybe his partymen may feel a little squeamish, or threatened, but the people at large should be happy, that whatever the reason, KP is back, or rather HAD HE gone at all...NO..NEVER.. HE always lived in our hearts. IRON becomes HARDER after being HARDENED..OHNS or NOW he is the refined gold..PURE 24 carats... he IS NOT VINDICTIVE but, THE brutus BRUTUSES will KNOW..haaaaaa LONG LIVE KRISHNANNA...ki jai !!!!!!LOVE YOU..
