Mayur Parsekar elected Goa Barge Owners Association president

Panaji, Jun 27: Mayur Damodar Parsekar has been elected as the new President of the Goa Barge Owners Association.

Expressing gratitude for the confidence placed in him, Parsekar said he would work towards protecting the interests of barge owners across Goa and address the challenges faced by the sector.

After his election, Parsekar said his immediate priority would be to strengthen the association and promote greater unity among its members. He stressed the importance of collective efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of Goa’s barge industry.

He also highlighted the need to address key concerns affecting barge owners and assured members that their issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities.

Parsekar said the association would continue working towards building a more secure and prosperous future for the state’s barge sector.
