Kasargod: Ganja plant found in school compound near Kumble

Kasargod, Jun 28: A ganja plant was found growing in the compound of a school at Bambrana near Kumble.

The discovery was made by a few local youths who had come to the school ground to play. They noticed the plant and immediately informed the excise officials.

Upon receiving the information, the officials arrived at the spot and conducted an inspection. A ganja plant measuring 50 cm in height was found on the premises.

The excise department has seized the plant and initiated an investigation into the matter to ascertain how it was planted or grew there.
