Mumbai, Jun 28: The critically acclaimed Konkani feature film Bapache Putache Navim (BPN) is set to be screened in Mumbai on August 23, offering Konkani-speaking audiences in the city another opportunity to experience one of the most talked-about Konkani films of recent times.

Written and directed by Stany Bela, the film has garnered widespread appreciation from audiences across India and abroad for its compelling storyline, realistic treatment, strong performances, evocative cinematography, and soulful music. Following successful screenings in Mangaluru, Udupi, the UAE, Israel, Qatar, Australia, Muscat, and other international destinations, the film now heads to Mumbai.

Produced by Michael D’Souza and family under the Daijiworld Films banner and supported by the Vision Konkani initiative, Bapache Putache Navim is a 100-minute family drama that explores parenting, relationships, and the realities of an ageing society through parallel narratives. The film presents a thought-provoking and emotionally engaging reflection on contemporary family life.

The movie features a talented ensemble cast including Walter Nandalike, Dayan D’Souza, Ron Rodrigues, Sunitha Menezes, Sweedal D’Souza, Joshal D’Souza, Melwyn Kalakul, Vinutha D’Souza, Rita Fernandes, Mellu Valencia, Jancy Fernandes, Eddie Sequeira, John M Permannur, and several other prominent Konkani artistes.

The film's technical team includes cinematographer Joel Shaman, music director Sanjay Rodrigues, editor Sharath Hegde, and sound mixer Loy Valentine Saldanha.
