Kuwait march 19: After the stupendous success of two seasons of 'Gulf Voice of Mangalore' - a mega Konkani singing talent hunt show, Youth Recreation Center, Kuwait is all geared up to host the preliminary round of GVOM Season 3 on June 1, 2012, at RV Party hall, Avanti Palace Restaurant, Salmiya from 4 pm onwards. In the preliminary round, six males and six females will be selected for the semi-finals.
The Gulf Voice of Mangalore competition is open to all Konkani speaking people of Mangalorean origin, holding a valid Kuwait residence visa, born on or before October 15, 1994. The title holders of the previous two GVOMs are restricted from participating in this season, while the runners-up of both the seasons are permitted to try for the title this year.
The semi-finals of Gulf Voice of Mangalore season 3 will be held on September 21 at the American International School auditorium from 5 pm onwards. One male and one female finalist from Kuwait will be selected on this day and they will be participating in the grand finale to be held in Doha, Qatar, on October 19, 2012 for the coveted title of GVOM 3.

Started in Kuwait during 2008, both GVOM season 1 at Kuwait and season 2 at Dubai created sensation among Mangaloreans worldwide. Kuwait's singing talents have previously won the titles of GVOM Season 1 (Vinay Lewis), female title winner of GVOM Season 2 (Gladys Lorenha) and also male runner-up (Warren D’Souza) of GVOM Season 2.
Speaking to Daijiworld, the founders of the GVOM Louis Rodrigues and Lawrence Pinto have requested all the talented Mangaloreans in Gulf to participate in GVOM 3, to make it as successful as the previous two seasons.
