Mangaluru/Chamarajanagar/Haveri, Jun 30: An atmosphere of anxiety prevailed at court premises in different parts of Karnataka on Monday after bomb threat emails were received by several courts across the state.

The Chamarajanagar District and Sessions Court received another bomb threat email, marking the third such threat within a week. According to reports, the two earlier emails had been sent from the same email address, while the latest threat message was received from a different email address. Police, along with the bomb disposal squad and dog squad personnel, conducted a thorough inspection of the court premises.

The Mangaluru District Court Complex also received a bomb threat email. Following an extensive search by the bomb detection and disposal squad and the dog squad, the threat was found to be a hoax.

Similarly, the Haveri court also received a bomb threat email. Authorities took the matter seriously and initiated the necessary security measures.
