Mangaluru, Jun 30: The Indian Coast Guard carried out a swift search and rescue operation to save six fishermen who were stranded in the Arabian Sea off the coast near Mangaluru.
On Monday, June 29, the fishing boat IFB Manju Matha was damaged after being battered by rough sea conditions and turbulent waves. As water began entering the boat, the fishermen on board sought assistance from the Indian Coast Guard.

Responding promptly, Coast Guard personnel reached the location aboard the vessel Sachet and rescued all six fishermen using remote-operated lifesaving devices (lifebuoys).
According to Coast Guard sources, the rescued fishermen were brought to the New Mangalore Port, where they received medical treatment before being handed over to the local authorities.
