Bangalore: DVS Hits back at BSY Camp, says No LP Meeting Before Budget

Bangalore, Mar 19 (PTI):
Karnataka Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda today rejected the B S Yeddyurappa camp's demand for convening a legislature party meeting within 48 hours, saying it would be called only after presentation of the budget.

"I have not received any request from anybody to call for a meeting of the legislature party", Gowda told reporters, adding, he would convene it only after the budget (slated to be presented on Mar 21).

The budget session begins tomorrow. The Yeddyurappa camp yesterday set a 48-hour deadline on convening the legislature party meeting, where they want to formally elect him as the leader facilitating his reinstatement as Chief Minister.

Gowda saw nothing wrong in Yeddyurappa loyalists staying in a resort, saying "I can't restrict anybody from going anywhere", adding, the Ministers were doing their work (otherwise).

There were no complaints against such Ministers vis-a-vis handling of their portfolios.

Appearing to be undeterred by moves of the Yeddyurappa camp to oust him, Gowda said, "I am continuing to perform my duties", adding, the budget speech would be sent for printing this afternoon.

"The state's interest is of primary importance for me as Chief Minister. Party president will look after the affairs of the party", he said.

Meanwhile, MLA B P Harish, a Yeddyurappa loyalist, said a signature campaign is on by some 65 MLAs seeking convening of the legislature party meeting. Yeddyurappa has been exonerated by the court in the illegal mining case, he said, adding, the BJP came to power after the party projected him to the post.

Those who voted for Sunil Kumar yesterday at Udupi-Chicmanglore by election are cursing themselves for supporting this silly party BJP. It's Lingayath  who are pinning Yeddy that the mandate was for Yeddy and not for BJP. Lingayath are afraid of loosing their grip on state govt. Shettar too had fallen prey to Yeddys gimmicks. My family back home says they will never vote BJP here after. Congress is the best no infighting, take care of backward communities. They always complete their 5 yrs term. Karnataka BJP bought shame to whole country.

Sonia Gandhi would have thrown Yeddy into dustbin already. BJP leaders don't have tooth, except blue tooth to spread porn films in assembly. Top to bottom power hungry not to serve the people but to mint money through corrupt practices. Every one knows this the last chance for BJP in Karnataka.

Poor Gadkari… simply wasted his energy by giving ‘Moral lessons’ to BJP leaders, just one month ago. Nothing has changed….!!!
He is not in a position to sack Yeddi also, because, 55 MLAs are with Yeddi & it’s more than enough for him to form a new party and damage BJP in state, in case he is being kicked out.

Well done DVS. If Gadkri had secret deal with Yeddy DVS should not be made scape Goat.
All MLA's n MP's of undivided DK should support DVS. He is our native, he need our support. A persons cast should not be a hindrance to become CM. I don't find any mistake with him for his crucifixion. You may be a congres or JDS or BJP? When question of our coastal Karnataka comes we should be united n stand with DVS. Forget party's, religion cast n creed n show your solidarity, n fight for DVS survival. Organize peaceful morchas, hunger strikes. We don't want elections now. Our state is under drout. Treasury is empty. Let DVS complete his term. Later it's upto public they want BJP or not? But 5 yrs mandate should be honored. Being congres supporter I don't want to fish in troubled water. That's my policy. I will fight with my enemy when he is more stronger than me n not weak.

BSY , DVS, KS,JS etc. are fighting themself to retain the MONEY PLANT .They would not have done that if public service motto in their mind. Its crystal clear.

The tug of war between Yeddy camp and DVS(BJP H.Command)looming towards constitutional crisis and in this circumstances, GUV may swing in to action which may pave the way for President rule in Karnataka.

Interestingly, Yeddy's gang now joined/powered by Shettar camp which may give DVS/H.Command a sleepless night. This govt had periodical' COMA' which hindered good governance and development of the state.People of Karnataka, need to give a thought and decide the future course of action by booting out in 'waiting in'snap polls for Assembly.
