Dubai Mar 19: As announced earlier on Daijiworld, Mangalore Konkans Dubai will organize 'Konkani Prathibha Spordho', a singing contest for the young and old on Friday May 4, 2012 at the Dubai Gem Private School (Near St Mary’s Church / Opposite K M Trading) at 10 am.
The competition will also select six of the best male and female singers in the above-18 category to qualify for the semi-finals of ‘Gulf Voice of Mangalore' to be held in October 2012.
The objective of the competition is to provide a platform to encourage people within the community and create an awareness of the singing talent available in the UAE.
