Udupi, Mar 19: A theft was reported at a leading electronics store here on Sunday March 18 night.

The thieves reportedly stole into the city branch of Pai International, electronics and home appliances dealer on Sunday night. They broke the rear shutter locks and made an opening using iron rods to get inside the showroom, it is learnt.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the burglars took away a few laptops and mobile handsets. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated to be Rs 4 lac.

A Nepali security guard, who was posted at the bank, went missing soon after the theft. His photo and address are  not available with the employer, which has made the police job tougher.

SP Dr Boralingaiah, circle inspectors Girish, town sub-inspector Madhu visited the crime spot along with fingerprint experts and a canine squad.

Further investigations are under way.

The thieves looted an Electronics Showroom and not a bank. Be smart before posting any comment.

"A Nepali security guard, who was posted at the bank, went missing soon after the theft. His photo and address are not available with the employer, which has made the police job tougher." GUYS, THE ABOVE STATEMENT ITSELF IS THE ANSWER. AS INDIA IS SHINING GLOBALLY IN EVERY FIELD, BUT VERY POOR IN KEEPING WATCH ON FOREIGN WORKERS LIKE NEPALIS AND BANGLADESHIS. THE MAIN REASON THAT OUR JOBLESS YOUTHS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THIS KIND OF JOB. OUR UNEMPLOYED YOUTS NEEDS LATEST MOBILES, TWO-WHEELERS AND LUXURY LIFE WITHOUT HARD-WORK.
