Unidentified elderly man found dead at bus shelter in Moodbidri

Moodbidri, Jul 2: An unidentified elderly man was found dead at the Ponnechari bus shelter in Moodbidri on Thursday.

According to sources, the man had been staying at the bus shelter for the past few days, spending both day and night there. A bag containing clothes was found near the body, leading to suspicion that he may have left his home.

Police from Moodbidri visited the spot and shifted the body to the Government Hospital in Moodbidri for further procedures.

The identity and native place of the deceased are yet to be ascertained. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
