MRPL distributes hygiene, nutrition kits to 210 bedridden endosulfan victims' families

Mangaluru, Jun 3: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is distributing hygiene and nutrition kits to 210 families of bedridden endosulfan victims.

Mandara V Kale, general manager of the CSR division at MRPL, announced this initiative. Speaking after distributing the kits as part of the annual Swachhata Pakhwada held from July 1 to 15, Kale stated that the company has organized continuous service activities for 15 days. "We are giving importance to cleanliness through various awareness activities like jathas, street plays, and shramadana," he said.

During the occasion, hygiene kits were distributed in Kokkada, Beltangady, Arasinamakki, and other areas.

Keshava Patali, officer of the MRPL CSR division, Dr Sanjath, taluk health officer of Belthangady, Dr Prakash, medical officer of the Kokkada community health centre, and Sajivuddin M S, Dakshina Kannada district endosulfan coordinator, among others, were present.
