Adarsha Hospital to celebrate Doctors' Day with felicitation, free health check-up camp on Jul 5

Udupi, Jul 4: Adarsha Hospital, Udupi, in association with Adarsha Charitable Trust, will celebrate Doctors' Day by felicitating distinguished medical professionals and organising a free health check-up camp at the Outpatient Department (OPD) of Adarsha Hospital on Sunday, July 5, at 9.30 am.

Former Minister K Jayaprakash Hegde will inaugurate the programme. The chief guests will be Hariram Shankar, IPS, superintendent of police, Udupi district; Basavaraj G Hubli, District Health and Family Welfare officer, Udupi; and Dr Ashok Hegde, district surgeon, Udupi District Hospital.

As part of the celebrations, the following doctors will be felicitated for their dedicated service to society, Dr Mohan Das Shetty, orthopaedic surgeon, Adarsha Hospital, Udupi; Dr Rizwan Ahemad, orthopaedic surgeon, City Nursing Home, Karkala; Dr Ashik Kumar Hegde, consultant physician, St Ignatius Hospital, Honnavar; Dr Savitha Kundar, medical officer, Primary Health Centre, Karje; and Dr Girish Gowda, medical officer, Primary Health Centre, Bijagoli.

A free health check-up camp will also be conducted for the benefit of the public. The organisers have invited citizens to participate in the camp and make use of the free medical services.
