Kundapur: Kollur men honoured for helping police solve temple theft case

Kundapur, Jul 9: Two persons who assisted the police in swiftly tracing the accused in the Rs 80,000 theft that took place at the Kollur temple two days ago were honoured at the police sub-divisional office on Wednesday.

The honourees were auto-rickshaw driver Naveen Poojary Dali of Kollur and Ganesh Achari Bankeshwar of Byndoor. Deputy superintendent of police H D Kulkarni presented them with certificates of appreciation.

Police inspectors Jayaram Gowda, Santosh Kaikini and Shivakumar, sub-inspectors Vinay Korlahalli of Kollur and Bhimashankar of Kollur, along with other officers of the Kundapur police sub-division, were present on the occasion.
