Sinner retains Wimbledon title, Guo-Mladenovic win women's doubles crown

London, Jul 13: Top seed Jannik Sinner successfully defended his Wimbledon men's singles title, defeating second seed Alexander Zverev 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 in the final at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on Sunday.

The victory marked Sinner's second consecutive Wimbledon men's singles title and his fifth Grand Slam singles crown. The Italian also became only the 10th player in history to successfully defend the Wimbledon men's singles championship.

In the women's doubles final, the 10th-seeded pairing of Guo Hanyu of China and Kristina Mladenovic of France clinched the title with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over the second-seeded duo of Gabriela Dabrowski and Luisa Stefani at Centre Court in London.

Guo and Mladenovic produced a composed performance throughout the match to secure the Wimbledon women's doubles crown in straight sets.
