Mangaluru, Jul 16: Ryan International School, Kulai, has once again brought laurels to the institution with an outstanding performance at the CISCE Zonal Level Sports Tournaments 2026, showcasing excellence across badminton, cricket, swimming, and table tennis.

At the CISCE Zonal Level Badminton Tournament, held at Don Bosco School, Chitradurga, on July 8th and 9th, Tanay Purandar Shetty secured 3rd place in the under-17 boys singles, while the duo of Tanay Purandar Shetty and Hitesh K won 3rd place in the under-17 boys doubles.

In the CISCE Zonal Level Cricket Tournament, held at Amber Valley Residential School, Chikkamagaluru, on July 29 the under-14 boys team emerged as runners-up (2nd place), while the under-17 boys team secured 3rd place, reflecting the school's growing strength in team sports.

The school also made a remarkable impact at the CISCE Zonal Level Swimming Tournament, held at Amber Valley Residential School, Chikkamagaluru, on July 29th. M Rithwik Prabhu won gold in the under-14 freestyle 50 m and butterfly 50 m events. Aaryan Anoop clinched gold in the under-17 freestyle 100 m, along with silver in the butterfly 50 m and bronze in the freestyle 50 m. Redhaan Sandeep Shetty secured silver in the under-14 freestyle 400 m and bronze in the butterfly 50 m, while Yuvaan Sandeep Shetty earned bronze in the under-14 freestyle 200 m, breaststroke 50 m, and individual medley 200 m. The under-14 boys relay team comprising Redhaan Sandeep Shetty, M Rithwik Prabhu, Tanush Sunil, and Yuvaan Sandeep Shetty won gold in both the 4×100 m freestyle relay and the 4×100 m medley relay.

Adding to the celebrations, at the CISCE Zonal Level Table Tennis Tournament, held at St Theresa School, Mangalore, on July 10th Aarnavi Hegde won 1st place in the under-14 girls individual event and was also part of the team with Kashvi N Salian and Mithasha Shetty, which secured 3rd place in the under-14 girls group event. Rachith B H emerged as the champion in the under-14 boys individual event, winning 1st place.
