Mangaluru, Jul 16: Konaje police have issued a lookout notice seeking information about a 35-year-old man from Jharkhand who has been missing since July 6.
According to a police release, Bisal Dutt, son of Sameer Dutt, had been working as a cook for the past one-and-a-half years at Ramanna's Canteen, located next to Abhaya Ashrama in Konaje.
On July 6, Bisal Dutt left for work at Abhaya Ashrama at around 8.00 am. At about 12.30 pm, he reportedly told others that he was going to a bank at Asaigoli and would return shortly. However, he did not return and has remained unreachable on his mobile phone since then.

His wife, Pooja Dutt, lodged a complaint stating that despite searching for him at various places, contacting relatives, and making enquiries with his friends, his whereabouts could not be traced. Based on her complaint, Konaje police have registered a missing person case (Crime No. 81/2026) and have launched an investigation.
According to the police, Bisal Dutt is 35 years old, about 5.6 feet tall, has a wheatish complexion and a medium build. He has a tattoo bearing the English letters ‘B’ and ‘E’ on his right hand. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a brown T-shirt and black pants. He can speak Hindi.
