Mangaluru, Jul 19: The 10th year 'Aatidonji Dina' programme, organised by the Moolathva Foundation Charitable Trust, was held at the CODP hall near Padavu school.

Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath inaugurated the event. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the various social initiatives and the continuous good work undertaken by the foundation.

Sri Brahma Baidarkala Garadi Kshetra, Kankanady president Chittaranjan, former MUDA president Ravishankar Mijar, Prof Rajmohan Rao, Dr Kusum, RSS leader Dr Satish Rao, trust president Prakash Moolathva, and trustees Lakshmisha, Kalpana, Shiny, and Akshata Kadri were present.

During the event, the dignitaries jointly launched a special memento titled 'Moolathva Loka Porlu'. Explaining this new initiative, trust president Prakash Moolathva announced that moving forward, on every 'Aatidonji Dina', the 'Moolathva Loka Porlu' honour will be conferred upon achievers from all walks of life who have made significant contributions across Tulunadu.

This year, the honour was presented to all the guests in attendance, as well as renowned theatre and film actor, and religious leader, dharmadarshi Satish Bandale.

Trust president Prakash Moolathva welcomed the gathering. Mithil proposed the vote of thanks, and Mamatha Ramprasad compered the programme.
