Mangaluru, Jul 22: The makers of the Tulu-Kannada bilingual film Picture, produced under Golden Star Ganesh and Shilpa Ganesh's Golden Movies banner, have announced a fresh update regarding the film's release.
The film, which was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on July 24, has now been postponed and will instead be released on August 7. The movie stars Nithyaprakash Bantwal and Amrutha Sudu in the lead roles.
Meanwhile, the makers have released a new celebration song from the film. Titled 'Ajjerejjare' in Tulu, the song features a festive family celebration sequence.
The song has been composed by Samuel Abi, with lyrics penned by Sandeep Bedra. It has been sung by noted music director Harikrishna.
Apart from Nithyaprakash Bantwal and Amrutha Sudu, the film also features Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor and others in prominent roles.
Picture has been directed by Sandeep Bedra and produced by Shilpa Ganesh under the Golden Movies banner. Cinematography has been handled by Santhosh Rai Pathaje and Chandrashekhar K S, while editing is by Raju Aryan.
The film also marks the debut of Nithyaprakash Bantwal as a lead actor. Picture is now set for a theatrical release on August 7.
