Udupi: Congress stages protest at Brahmagiri on NEET issue; police detain demonstrators

Udupi, Jul 22: Congress leaders and workers staged a protest at Brahmagiri in Udupi, raising slogans against the ongoing NEET issue. The demonstration drew the attention of the police, who intervened to prevent the protest from escalating.

Police personnel detained the protesting Congress workers from the protest site as part of preventive measures. The situation remained peaceful, and no untoward incidents were reported.

Among those present during the protest were former Prasad Raj Kanchan, M A Gaffoor, and Veronica Cornelio, along with several Congress leaders and party workers.
