Melbourne, Jul 23: India-born batter Jerrssis Wadia and Australian Under-19 representative Aryan Sharma have been named in Cricket Australia's pathway squads for upcoming assignments in Darwin and Chennai.
Wadia has been selected in the Cricket Australia (CA) XI squad that will take on the Bangladesh men's Test team in a three-day match in Darwin from August 6 to 8.
The South Australian batter has progressed through Adelaide's premier cricket pathway and was also part of the Adelaide Strikers squad during the recent Big Bash League (BBL) season.

Meanwhile, Victorian all-rounder Aryan Sharma has been named in Australia's Men's Development Squad for the MRF Academy Programme in Chennai.
Sharma represented Australia at the ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup and was also included in the Melbourne Stars squad during the previous BBL season.
The Development Squad will play two two-day matches as part of the MRF Academy Programme on August 5–6 and August 10–11. Both matches will be played on traditionally spin-friendly wickets in Chennai.
Former Australia head coach Tim Nielsen will guide the CA XI during the Darwin fixture, while Tim Paine and Anthony Clark will lead the coaching staff for the Development Squad in Chennai.
CA XI Squad: Campbell Kellaway, Campbell Thompson, Corey Rocchiccioli, Hanno Jacobs, Jake Doran, Jerrssis Wadia, Josh Philippe, Kurtis Patterson, Sam Konstas, Teague Wyllie, Tom Menzies, Tom Rogers, Xavier Crone and Noah McFadyen.
Men's Development Squad: Aryan Sharma, Doug Warren, Hugh Weibgen, Jack Sinfield, Jason Sangha, Jayden Goodwin, Joel Davies, Lloyd Pope, Matt Gilkes, Rafael MacMillan, Riley Kingsell and Steven Hogan.
