Mangaluru, Jul 23: As part of an anti-terror preparedness exercise, the National Security Guard (NSG) conducted a helicopter trial operation over Mangaluru city on Wednesday.
The helicopter was seen flying over several high-rise buildings as part of the rehearsal for a mock anti-terror operation. The aerial exercise drew the attention of residents across the city.
Officials said the helicopter movement was part of a trial run ahead of the full-scale anti-terror mock drill scheduled to be conducted by the NSG later in the evening.
The exercise aims to assess the preparedness and coordination of security agencies in responding to potential terror threats in an urban environment.
