Bantwal, Jul 24: The Bantwal town police have successfully traced and apprehended an accused in a theft case who had been absconding without appearing for his court hearings.
The arrested individual has been identified as Sanjay Sahani (48), a resident of Vaishali in Bihar. He was a warrant accused in crime number 76/2016, registered under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Bantwal town police station.

The police managed to trace Sahani and produced him before the court on Friday, July 24. Following his appearance, the court imposed a fine on the accused and officially closed the case.
