Mangalore: Tragedy During Boat Launch - One Killed, Another Injured

Mangalore, Mar 22: In a tragic incident at Tota Bengre on Thursday March 22, Ashraf (28) of Bengre died when a new boat was being launched.
Sources said that Ashraf, while trying to push the boat ‘Marala Jyothi’ into the water, lost his balance and fell. He got stuck beneath the boat and was critically injured.
Another person, identified as Aslam (32), sustained injuries.
Ashraf died on the way to hospital. The boat belonged to Prakash Uchil.
A case has been registered in Panambur police station.
