Udupi: 36-year-old progressive farmer dies of heart attack

Udupi, Jul 26:
Umesh Shetty (36), a progressive farmer and resident of Ugrani Bettu near the Ajekar Vishnumurthy Temple, passed away due to a heart attack on July 25.

According to sources, Shetty experienced uneasiness while at home and was immediately taken to a clinic in Ajekar. However, the doctor who examined him confirmed that he had already succumbed to a heart attack.
Shetty was well-regarded in the community for his active involvement in various religious and social activities.

He was serving as the sub-committee president of the Ajekar Sri Sharada Mahotsava Samiti and was deeply engaged in the preparations for the upcoming Sharadotsava programme.

He was unmarried and is survived by his mother, two brothers, two sisters, and a large circle of relatives and friends.
