Three students of Christ King Educational Institution qualify for district-level chess tournament

Karkala, Jul 31: Three students from Christ King Educational Institutions, Karkala, have qualified for the district-level chess tournament after their impressive performance at the Karkala taluk-level chess competition.

The tournament was organised by the Department of Public Instruction, Government of Karnataka, in association with the Office of the Block Education Officer, Karkala, and Government High School, Shivapura.

The students who secured qualification for the district-level tournament are Samruddh Bhandary, a Class 7 student in the primary division, Moulya, a Class 9 student in the high school division, and Varun Kamath, a Class 10 student in the high school division.
