Tulu-Kannada bilingual ‘Picture’ trailer raises expectations ahead of Aug 7 release

Mangaluru, Aug 2: The trailer of ‘Picture’, the much-awaited Tulu-Kannada bilingual film directed by Sandeep Bedra and produced under the Golden Movies banner, which released a few days ago, has generated considerable buzz ahead of its theatrical release on August 7.

Featuring Nithyaprakash Bantwal in the lead role, the trailer offers a blend of humour, action, and flashback sequences, beginning with a conversation about making a Tulu film.

Centred around a family story, Picture promises to be a wholesome family entertainer. Golden Star Ganesh, who presents the film, brings his trademark family entertainment style to Tulu cinema through this project.

Making his debut as a lead actor, Nithyaprakash Bantwal appears in a powerful role, while Amrutha Sudu grabs attention with her charming screen presence.

The comedy entertainer features several well-known Tulu artistes, including Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, and Aravind Bolar. Pushparaj Bollar, popularly known for his role as Bava in ‘Su From So’, will be seen playing the antagonist.

The film is produced by Shilpa Ganesh under the Golden Movies banner and presented by Ganesh. It is directed by Sandeep Bedra, with cinematography by Santosh Rai Pathaje and Chandrashekhar K S. The music has been composed by Samuel Abi.

Produced in both Tulu and Kannada, Picture is set for a statewide theatrical release on August 7.
