Mangaluru, Aug 4: A chain collision involving a car, a private bus and a lorry occurred on Yeyyadi Road in Mangaluru on Tuesday, damaging all three vehicles.
The accident occurred when the driver of the car attempted to take a left turn. A bus travelling behind the car reportedly failed to stop in time and rammed into the vehicle. Shortly afterwards, a lorry coming from behind collided with the rear of the bus, resulting in a chain collision.
The car, bus and lorry sustained minor damage in the mishap. Passengers travelling in the bus escaped unhurt, and no injuries were reported.
The incident caused brief traffic disruption in the area before the situation was brought under control.
