London, Aug 5: Diksha Dagar will lead the Indian challenge at the USD 2 million London Championship as the Ladies European Tour (LET) enters the final leg of its United Kingdom swing at the Centurion Club in Hertfordshire.
Joining Diksha in the 120-player field are fellow Indians Aditi Ashok, Pranavi Urs and rookie Avani Prashanth, with all four aiming to strengthen their positions ahead of the closing phase of the LET season.
A two-time LET winner, Diksha has been India's most consistent performer on the Tour this season. Despite missing the cut at last week's AIG Women's Open, she is eighth in the Race to Costa del Sol standings, backed by multiple top-10 finishes. She will be looking to clinch her third LET title and improve on her career-best Order of Merit finish after ending inside the top three in 2023.
Five-time LET champion Aditi Ashok returns to the Tour while balancing her schedule with the LPGA Tour. The Indian star will be hoping to regain top form after a relatively quiet season.
Pranavi Urs has enjoyed a steady campaign and is placed inside the top 50 on the Order of Merit, while rookie Avani Prashanth has impressed in her debut LET season and is also comfortably placed in the top 50. Three of the four Indian golfers are currently ranked inside the top 60 in the Race to Costa del Sol standings.
The London Championship will be played over 72 holes at the Centurion Club for a prize purse of USD 2 million, with the cut after 36 holes falling to the top 60 professionals and ties.
Defending champion Laura Fünfstück of Germany will not return to defend her title as she is on maternity leave.
The field will be led by world No. 6 Charley Hull of England, winner of the 2026 PIF Saudi Ladies International. She will be joined by Race to Costa del Sol leader Casandra Alexander of South Africa and reigning 2025 Order of Merit champion Shannon Tan of Singapore, who heads into the event after recording a career-best tied-sixth finish at last week's AIG Women's Open.
Tan, who won the 2025 Women's Indian Open, said her performance at the season's final major had boosted her confidence ahead of the upcoming European events.
