Hebri, Aug 7: A driver died on the spot after a huge tree fell on his moving car near Hutturke on Friday, August 7.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred around 5:30 pm while the car was travelling from Hebri towards Brahmavar.
When the massive tree uprooted and fell onto the road, an electric pole and wires also crashed down onto the car. Consequently, the vehicle got completely trapped under the weight of the tree, the pole, and the cables. The driver was killed instantly in the impact.
Operations to clear the uprooted tree and the electric pole from the road are currently underway. The identity of the deceased driver is yet to be ascertained.
