Udupi: Mudrangadi David D'Souza shootout case - Two accused remanded to 10-day police custody

Udupi, Aug 10: A court here has remanded two accused in the shootout case of Mudrangadi gram panchayat former president and contractor David D'Souza to 10 days of police custody.

The arrested accused, Akash alias Anmol Rastogi from Uttarakhand and Ziaulla alias Deepak from Bihar, who were previously in judicial custody, were produced before the court on Monday by the investigating officer of the case, kaup police inspector Azmath Ali.

The police had requested judge Purushotham to hand over the accused to police custody for further interrogation and investigation. Agreeing to the plea, the judge passed an order remanding the duo to 10 days of police custody.
