Karkala, Aug 12: A ‘Green dialogue – Cleanliness dialogue’ awareness programme was organized for students at Christ King Pre-University College, by Swachh Brigade Karkala.
Professor Binisha P, executive director of the International Waste Management Organization and an environmental scientist, was the resource person for the programme. She interacted with the students and provided information on environmental conservation, waste management and cleanliness initiatives.
Dr Shriram Mugeraya of Swachh Karkala Brigade spoke about various aspects of environmental conservation. Dr Gururaj of the brigade highlighted the importance of protecting health alongside environmental conservation.
Commerce lecturer Deepak compered the programme.
Christ King PU College principal Lakshminarayana Kamath, senior members of Swachh Karkala Brigade Flexy Vaz, Rajendra Amin and Srinivasa Sudhal were present on the occasion.
