Canacona, Aug 13: Trekker Rohit Kudalkar was safely rescued after losing his way in the forested area at Gaongondrim near Barsare Temple in Canacona.
An alert was raised around noon, following which Canacona Police, Forest Department officials and Fire and Emergency Services personnel launched a coordinated search operation.
The teams searched the forested area and successfully traced Kudalkar, bringing him to safety. The swift and coordinated response helped ensure his safe rescue.
Following the operation, Kudalkar thanked Goa Police and the rescue personnel for their prompt response and efforts.
