Mangaluru, Aug 13: The department of B Com, IMC, Srinivas University, organised a guest talk on August 6. The programme was conducted with the objective of inspiring students to enhance their personal and professional skills through continuous self-improvement and personality development.

The theme of the guest talk was "The art of personal excellence – Enhance your skills." The session aimed to motivate students to develop qualities such as self-confidence, effective communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, time management, and a positive attitude, which are essential for academic success and career growth.

The resource person for the session was Prof Sween Kuriakose, assistant professor, department of MBA, Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology (SUIET), Mukka. She delivered an engaging and thought-provoking session on the importance of personal excellence in today's competitive world. Through real-life examples and interactive discussions, she emphasised the significance of self-discipline, goal setting, continuous learning, adaptability, and lifelong personal development. She encouraged students to identify their strengths, overcome challenges, and strive for excellence in every aspect of life.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from the first-year students of the B Com department. Students actively interacted with the speaker by asking questions and sharing their perspectives, making the programme informative and inspiring.
