Udupi, Aug 13: As part of its outreach initiatives to promote emerging technologies among school and pre-university students, the ATL support cell of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal in association with IEEE student branch, organised a workshop on "Python Applications and Artificial Intelligence" at Government Pre-University College (GPUC), Hiriadka, on August 6.

The workshop introduced students to the fundamentals of Python programming and its significant role in Artificial Intelligence. The sessions covered Python basics, data handling, AI concepts, and demonstrations of simple machine learning applications.

The resource persons emphasised the importance of computational thinking, problem-solving skills, and programming proficiency in preparing students for future technological advancements. Interactive demonstrations and practical examples enabled students to appreciate the real-world applications of Python and Artificial Intelligence.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The participants actively engaged in the hands-on activities and appreciated the practical approach adopted during the sessions.

The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where students clarified their queries regarding Python programming, AI, and career opportunities in emerging technologies.
