Panaji, Aug 13: Goa Forward Party (GFP) president Vijai Sardesai has called upon the state's youth to come together, strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and play a decisive role in defeating the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Sardesai said young Goans must become the driving force for political change in Goa and urged the party's youth wing to reach out to more youngsters, build a strong grassroots network and actively take up issues affecting the people.

The party is strengthening its organisational presence at the booth, ward and constituency levels as it prepares for the upcoming electoral battle.
Sardesai said Goa's youth are facing serious challenges related to employment, land, the environment, rising costs and protection of the state's identity.
He urged youngsters to enter public life, raise their voices and fight for their rights instead of remaining silent spectators to developments affecting Goa.
