Mangaluru, Aug 14: The postgraduate department of big data analytics at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organised an interdepartmental youth fest, 'TARUNOTHSAVA 2K26', on August 12, in celebration of International Youth Day. The fest was conducted by the department association 'Neuron' and inaugurated by the principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC.
The themes for the youth fest were aligned to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action and Goal 15: Life on Land, encouraging students to connect their talents to the goals and participate with broader values for sustainable development.











The student coordinators of the fest were Vidyashree of second-year, and Vaishnavi Salomi Maben of first-year MSc big data analytics, with the guidance from the student vice president of the department, Sakshi and department faculty members.
Students from various undergraduate and postgraduate departments of St Agnes College enthusiastically participated in the fest. The youth fest featured four competitions: Chitra Katha (photo collage), Kalamritam (face painting), Kalaranga (rangoli) and Rasanubhava (group dance).
The valedictory programme included the felicitation of the winners of the four competitions by the PG coordinator Sr Dr M Vinora A C and the event judges. The event concluded on a joyful note, bringing together the vibrant celebration of talent, creativity and teamwork.
