Mangaluru, Aug 14: The Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, successfully organised the 'TAAL Dance Competition Discovering the True Self' on August 13 as part of PARAMPARA 2026 celebrating art & culture of India. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation 72 students from BBA aviation management and BBA aviation & logistics management. The event featured classical solo, group folk dance, and group patriotic dance categories, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their dance skills, creativity, stage presence, cultural expression, and teamwork.
The performances reflected the richness and diversity of Indian dance traditions, captivating the audience with vibrant costumes, expressive movements, and synchronized group performances that celebrated the country’s cultural heritage. The competition created a lively and festive atmosphere on campus while encouraging students to explore their artistic potential and build confidence through performance. The classical dance presentations highlighted discipline, grace, and technical excellence, while the folk and patriotic group dances emphasized unity, coordination, cultural pride, and a spirit of national integration.









The event was successfully organized under the guidance and support of the Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University, SWO, HODs, cultural coordinators, faculty members, student coordinators and staff members. Whose collective efforts ensured the smooth organization of the programme and made TAAL 2026 a memorable celebration of art, culture, and student talent.
