St Louis, Aug 14: Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa bounced back from his previous-round defeat with a convincing victory over Dutch player Jorden Van Foreest in the fourth round of the Sinquefield Cup.
The win took Praggnanandhaa's tally to 2.5 points from four games, putting him in a share of second place in the 10-player, nine-round tournament.
Praggnanandhaa had suffered a defeat against Germany's Vincent Keymer in the third round. However, he responded strongly against Van Foreest to keep his hopes of a podium finish alive.
