Puttur: Bike rider killed in collision with KSRTC bus at Keyyur

Puttur, Aug 15: A bike rider was killed on the spot in a fatal accident involving a KSRTC bus and a motorcycle near Nelliguri in Bolikkala, Keyyur village, on Saturday August 15.

The accident reportedly occurred when a KSRTC bus travelling from Madavu Katte towards Savanur collided head-on with a bike travelling from Savanur towards Puttur. Due to the impact, the bike rider, identified as Abhilash, died on the spot.

The deceased is survived by his father, mother and brother.

Puttur police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
