The Prime Minister's Office confirmed the meeting in a post on X, saying, “Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri @Dev_Fadnavis met Prime Minister @narendramodi.”

Following the meeting, Fadnavis said he made a detailed presentation to Modi on the progress of several development projects in Maharashtra and sought greater support from the Centre for initiatives being implemented jointly by the two governments.
