Mangaluru: St Aloysius University to host Science Academies lecture workshop

Mangaluru, Aug 18: St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, through its School of Life Sciences, is organizing a Science Academies Lecture Workshop titled “Advancing Healthcare with Personalized Medicine: Genes, Drugs and Beyond” in association with the Joint Science Education Panel of the Science Academies on 24th–25th August 2026 at Eric Mathias Hall, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.

The programme will feature distinguished speakers from premier institutions, including Dr P N Rangarajan, professor, Department of Biochemistry, Dr Ganesh Nagaraju, professor, Department of Biochemistry, Dr Dipshikha Chakravorty, professor, Department of Microbiology & Cell Biology, Dr Aravind Penmatsa, association professor, Structural Biology Unit – all are from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, Dr Ravi Manjithaya, professor and chair, Autophagy Laboratory, Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit, JNCASR, Bangalore and Prof K Kemparaju, senior professor, Department of Studies in Biochemistry, University of Mysore.
