Mangaluru, Aug 22: The Investiture Ceremony 2026 for pre-schoolers, celebrated as Little Leaders’ Day, was held on August 20 at AJ Grand Elite, Yekkur with great enthusiasm and pride. The event was graced by Dr Kavita K R, regional joint director of Collegiate Education, Mangaluru, as the chief guest.

The programme was held entirely by the pre-schoolers, showcasing their confidence, talent, and leadership. It commenced with a spirited marching band that welcomed the chief guest, followed by a heartfelt prayer song by the choir. A vibrant welcome dance set the celebratory tone, leading into the welcome address and the introduction of the chief guest. The ceremonial procession then unfolded, with the little students marching with joy and dignity.

In a symbolic gesture of responsibility, the chief guest adorned the young leaders with sashes and badges, formally appointing them to their respective roles. Parents looked on with pride as their children stepped into leadership positions, embracing values of responsibility, teamwork, and service at such a tender age.

Further elevating the spirit of the day, the associate director and principal, Anthony Joseph, took to the podium. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to both the newly invested student leaders and their proud parents.

In an inspiring and highly motivational pep talk, Joseph spoke directly to the children about what it truly means to guide others. He emphasised that true leaders lead by example, kindness, and responsibility, urging them to carry their new badges not as a privilege, but as a promise to help their peers.

The ceremony not only marked a milestone in the students’ early education journey but also instilled in them the spirit of leadership and accountability. The day truly embodied the essence of nurturing future leaders, making it a memorable occasion for both the children and their families.
