Colombo, Aug 23: India were 40 for one against hosts Sri Lanka in the second and final Test of the series in Colombo when reports last came in, with the visitors looking to seal a 2-0 series victory.
India won the toss and elected to bat. The visitors made one change to their playing XI, handing a Test debut to Madhya Pradesh all-rounder Saransh Jain. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav was ruled out of the match after suffering an infection.
Sri Lanka were also forced to make changes to their side. Experienced batter Dinesh Chandimal was ruled out after suffering a concussion, while Nishan Madushka was dropped from the XI.

Kamil Mishara was handed his Test debut for Sri Lanka, while Pasindu Sooriyabandara returned to the playing XI as the hosts sought to bounce back from their defeat in the opening Test.
India won the first Test by 165 runs and currently lead the two-match series 1-0. The visitors will be aiming to complete a series whitewash with another victory in Colombo, while Sri Lanka will be determined to level the series on home soil.
