Udupi, Aug 24: The Badagabettu Credit Cooperative Society Ltd, has been conferred with the Sadhana Award by the Dakshina Kannada District Central Cooperative Bank (DKDCC Bank) for its outstanding performance during 2025-26. This marks the 20th consecutive year that the society has received the award.

The award recognises the society’s continued progress and overall development in the cooperative sector.

The award was presented by Dr M N Rajendra Kumar, president of DKDCC Bank, during the award ceremony held as part of the bank’s annual general meeting.

Jayakar Shetty Indrali, president of Badagabettu Credit Cooperative Society, and Rajesh V Sherigar, general manager, received the award on behalf of the society.

Society director L Umanath, assistant general manager Praveen Kumar, Udupi District deputy registrar of Cooperative Societies Lavanya K R, Dakshina Kannada District deputy registrar of Cooperative Societies Ramesh H N, and directors of DKDCC Bank were present on the occasion.
