Yenepoya Naturopathy College NSS volunteers join PM Modi’s ‘Khelo India Samvaad’

Mangaluru, Aug 27: NSS volunteers of Yenepoya Naturopathy & Yogic Science College & Hospital, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, participated in the MY Bharat – National Sports Day 2026 ‘Khelo India Samvaad’ Programme held on August 27, at the Seminar Hall, Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research Centre (YPCRC).

The programme was organised under the Khelo India initiative on the theme “Khel Ki Baat PM Ke Saath”. The programme featured the live virtual address and interaction of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the youth, focusing on the importance of sports, fitness, youth participation and the vision of Viksit Bharat.

The NSS volunteers enthusiastically witnessed the live interaction and participated in the Yuva Samvaad and interactive discussions, gaining valuable insights into the role of sports in developing discipline, leadership, teamwork and a healthy lifestyle.

The programme was attended by the NSS volunteers of Yenepoya Naturopathy & Yogic Science College & Hospital, along with NSS programme officer Dr Ajith K, who coordinated and guided the volunteers during the programme.

The event served as an inspiring platform for the volunteers to strengthen their commitment towards fitness, sportsmanship, youth empowerment and nation-building, in keeping with the spirit of NSS and the vision of a Fit and Viksit Bharat.
