Udupi, Aug 29: Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) in association with co-curricular committee organised an outreach session on “GATE and JAM: Opportunities Through National Entrance Examinations” at GB01, MBA Block.

Krishnega M and Akila S, GATE & JAM Ambassadors from IISc Bengaluru, served as resource persons and provided students with insights into the eligibility criteria, examination pattern, syllabus, preparation strategies, and career opportunities associated with GATE and JAM.

The speakers highlighted opportunities for higher education and research at premier institutions such as IITs and IISc, while emphasising the importance of early preparation, systematic study, and effective time management.

The session enhanced students’ awareness of national-level entrance examinations and motivated them to explore higher education, research, scholarships, and promising career pathways.
