Sullia, Aug 30: The mortal remains of a man who had gone missing two days ago were discovered in the Payaswini river on Sunday, August 30.
The deceased has been identified as Girish, a resident of Kudkuli in Aletti village.

According to the details, Girish had recently left his home to fetch grass but never returned. Suspicions arose when his umbrella and sickle were found abandoned on the banks of the Payaswini river. Following a formal police complaint, fire and rescue personnel, guided by the Sullia police, launched a search operation that lasted for two days.
The search efforts concluded on Sunday morning when the rescue team finally located and retrieved his body from the river.
