Karkala resident Fayaz Ahmed passes away in Doha

Doha, Aug 30: Fayaz Ahmed (57), a native of Karkala in Udupi district, passed away in Doha, Qatar on Sunday, August 30.

He had served as the finance manager at Bin Omran Company for the past 30 years. A soft-spoken, humble, and respected personality, Fayaz Ahmed was actively involved in several Indian community organisations and forums in Qatar.

He had served as the president of KMCA Qatar, Hidaya Foundation Qatar, and several other Indian community organisations.

Prominent community leaders in Qatar, including Saqib Raza Khan, Dr Ravi Shetty, Ashmath Ali, Abdullah Monu, Vijay K, Tulukoota founder member M Iqbal Manna, and several others, expressed shock and deep sorrow over his sudden demise.

Fayaz Ahmed is survived by his wife, son, and a large number of friends and well-wishers.
